Cableless SD2IEC for the Commodore now in stock!
It has taken a while and most people who want an SD2IEC probably have one, but we have added a high quality, fully enclosed cableless SD2IEC to our range.
This is part of the family of products from Urko Manufactured in Portugal - SD2IEC, Cableless SD2IEC, Tapuino & Tapuino Mini. Our designer James has grouped the products together and produced a new setup guide for them all.

ReplyDeleteThere are a lot on the market, some of the sd2iecs are terrible quality and reliability. We have a new update on this using the Atmega 1284p available.
DeleteDoes it have a datasette passthrough?
ReplyDeleteNo - have a look at the pictures.
ReplyDeletewhy is the atmega1284p version better ?
ReplyDeleteBecause you can fit a custom firmware within its memory and it can play some extra games.
DeleteIs it possible to use a JiffyDOS 1541 ROM with this device, so disk transfers are sped up?
ReplyDeleteNo, as the JiffyDOS ROM goes inside the Commodore 1541 Disk drive.
DeleteWhere can I find an operation manual for the sd2iec? I recently acquired one used with no instructions.
ReplyDeleteIt should have come with the manual, where did you buy it from and what is your name?
